I never posted a picture of Minou and Birdie's Christmas presents. They each got a set of these Monkey pjs. Minou was wearing hers today as we got an unusual dump of snow over the day. It has stopped now but is supposed to continue tomorrow. For those of you that know Vancouver this is TROUBLE. We watched cars out the window all morning slide down the hill in front of our condo. I - needless today say - will not be leaving the house.



Been working on my wearable art outfit for 2008. Hoping to enter more then one this year. The first one is an easy one out of ladies undergarments. I hope for the next one to be more along the recycling lines of the tea bag dress. Just can't decide what direction I want to go...

I just found my ipod shuffle.
I am so happy.
It has been missing for over a month. I thought I had lost it in a shopping mall or some other equally impossible to find place. But I didn't. It was just in the depths of my computer bag that isn't used very often.
Now you are porbably wondering what is the big deal. It is just an ipod shuffle. You can get a new shiny one for $79.99 at any store.
Well I'll tell you why.
My ipod shuffle is engraved.
It says "Gratitude &Affection, RZ- Case 39"
You might still be saying 'whatever'
BUT if you knew that the RZ stood for Renee Zellweger maybe then you would be a little more impressed. And if you knew that she gave us all one at the end of filming for Case 39 you might understand why I am a little attached to it.

I found it.
I'm so happy.

I'm working on my next show. It is tedious. There is so much to draw and it is all modern and not to interesting. It is more about making people look real which is surprisingly difficult.
Getting closer. Only have about 5 more to draw and then about 10 more to color. But then the revisions start. And then I have to buy everything. Sigh....

ok 2008 sucks A S S.
i just got the WORST haircut of my life. I have done some pretty whacky things on the hair cutting scale but I have never left the hair dressers crying before. I did today.
UGH.
It will take at least a year to get it back to something normal. It is horrific. And short. Really short. For those of you that know we are going back to mullet lengths here. I said I wanted it long enough to go into a bob if it didn't work. HE DIDN'T LISTEN. I'm going out to buy some hats tomorrow. Several. And barrettes galore. The guy just didn't listen to me. I've never constantly stopped someone during a haircut. I usually sit there and take it. But it was going really really really wrong. I should have just got up and left.
UGH UGH UGH..
So upset. It doesn't help with the whole not sleeping last night - I just feel so out of sorts now. Got home around 2:00 and put my pjs on - don't feel like doing anything. Feel like I am sick and want to curl up with the flu but there is nothing wrong with me except my hair -and I can't wait until I 'feel better' when my hair grows out.

Ugh.
I WAS in a good mood until my haircut. I met with the graphic design people at the school this morning after 2 hours of sleep - they are excited to have me as a student and I am able to skip several courses due to my degree. Just having her talk about the layout of my resume was interesting. Now I am trying to decide how many courses I should register for. 3 or 4. Don't want to overdue it as I do still have an artsclub show to do.

Speaking of which I should get to work on it. Still lots to do sketching wise.
