Started the girls halloween costumes today. Birdie is a ferocious circus leopard (oops almost said tiger) Minou is going to bea clown - I'll start hers next - I still need to pick up a few things. Birdie might get a few rhinestones yet too - not sure....
I made a double at the same time so I'll sell it on etsy once Birdie lets me take some good pictures - HA HA HA..
Not much new here - work work work. We were supposed to cut down to part time but it hasn't happened. This after I told a bunch of people I could help them out with things. Oops.
Fighting with the relatives about the election. I don't know how to convince these people they shouldn't vote for Harper - you'd think the idea that I will be on EI if he wins and they will have to start paying my mortgage would be incentive enough. If any of you are undecided out there - or even remotely considering Harper - THINK AGAIN. Remember my post a few years ago - something along the lines of 'harper hates cute puppies' so yah don't vote for him....
Next weekend we'll be at my sister's for Thanksgiving. YAY! (Psst and my birthday)

I made a larger hoodie pattern for etsy today. I made it awhile back after measuring a jack russell terrier (named Russell) that came to visit at work one day. Haven't had a chance to test it out much so if any of you out there want to give it a go....... Birdie is modelling the smaller size for me. I was surprised she was so cooperative. She wouldn't let me take an picture inside - and I think she was smart - it was perfect lighting outside by the daisies....

Sunday morning here in Port Moody with the cutest puppies in the world...

just spent ALL DAY making my pattern for Minou's hoodies. It is hard making something make sense for other people that you have been using for so many years. I never had a very accurate patter - just kind of winged it. It was fun though. MIght have to do another size tomorrow now that the hard part is done.
It is there on esty too. If anyone uses it they will have to let me know if my instructions suck. They were surprisingly difficult to write.

Auntie Angie did it! She ran the Vancouver marathon today. She was so fast we couldn't get good pictures of her - ran past to fast. Birdie and I wore matching numbers to cheer her on. We were so tired - we had to get up at 6:00am on a SUNDAY to watch her. We slept in her lap all the way home. Whenever Mommy saw her on the race she screamed like an idiot. It was a little embarrassing.
Lots of people tok pictures of us and asked us if we were running the marathon and how our time was. Mommy - instead of saying "yes they are and they are going to qualify for the Boston marathon" would say "no they are just cheering, but their time wouldn't be any good because they keep stopping to pee." Maybe Birdie was but ot me - I could have ran it just as fast as Auntie Angie.

The couch cushions. The Dictator and I didn't notice and were seated quite comfortably on it all evening for her while watching Hell's Kitchen.
One of my bestest buddies is running her first marathon this weekend and the girls and I are going to cheer her on. I figured they needed some appropriate t-shirts to wear.

HEE HEE.. Can't wait!

i feel horrible.
I did shower this morning and get dressed but I soon went back into pjs and a housecoat.
I crawled up on the couch and the girls crawled with me - right into my housecoat. And they stayed there when I stood up, when I went downstairs, when I went to check my email, when I went back to the couch and so on and so forth. They only recently hopped out after about 3 hours of me carrying them around like that.
I told luc I had new love handles but after seeing the picture it is more like saggy boobs. Ahh a glimpse of the future. hee hee.



Anyhoo. It is just a cold that everyone has been passing around - it was only a matter of time before it was my turn. It is a good weekend to be sick. My dad is gone, it is cold outside, and I have no stressful assignments or work to be done for monday. I think I will just 'enjoy' this cold and spend it on the couch in front of the fire and tv with my puppies and sweetheart.

We have a silly movie to watch... If you are offended by dry humping baboons then best to move to the next blog and pretend you never saw this entry.....
