I just made some really horrible vanilla cupcakes - like horrible. DIdn't rise, grainy, sunk in the middle, burnt on the edges stuck to the pan HORRIBLE.
I really am a bad cook.
Printing out a new recipe but I need a little break before I start over...

Ugh, me too. And they were supposed to be a special extra fluffy recipe kind of thing, talking about gluten formation and some such junk. Nick is such a trooper that he did eat some of them, but truly, they were terrible and grainy and hard. What a waste of six eggs (it was a yellow cake recipe and only used the yolks). Meh, better luck next time to the both of us.
